MBA - Master of Business Administration

Objective of the MBA programme:
The primary objective of the MBA Programme is to develop insight into various business management situations and how a leader should react effectively. Insight inspires commitment and lays a groundwork for personal development in your own workplace. The key words are thinking, learning, creating and growing.

Scope:
The MBA programme can be studied over 12-36 months (part time 24 months), under the instruction of qualified teachers with high quality English literature. Home-based assignments take about 15 hours per week plus seminars. The examinations are held under the supervision of Heriot-Watt University.

Participant profile:
For business men and women who want to gain advanced management skills with international business orientation.

Previous knowledge:
Successful applicants will have university-level education or the equivalent, experience working in management or inroads to management, and strong English language skills.

Full time students are expected to have:
  • Bachelors Degrees.
  • A minimum of 4 years' post-qualifying full-time work experience of a relevant nature.
  • Evidence of competence in English language in the form of an IELTS score 6,5.
